The Intex 1000 Gallon Filter Pump provides efficient filtration for a quality swimming experience. It's designed for 15' and 16' diameter pools. The built-in GFIC "ground fault circuit interrupter" instantly shuts off pump if electrical current comes into contact with water. Easy installation, just hook-up hoses and plug in. Pump features a thicker, heavier paper cartridge. The filter pump that came with our Intex Easy Set pool only survived 2 months in the Arizona heat.I purchased this new pump after researching prices and brands online and I'm very happy with the purchase. This pump is Much more powerful than the 1 that came with the pool. The water has been crystal clear and the chemicals perfectly balanced ever since I installed it. It was easy to install, and came with all the necessary parts (came with hoses, fixtures, etc). The price was much lower at Amazon than other places I looked and the pump arrived only 24 hrs after purchase. Excellent product and service overall. Very pleased.
